(2025) I Brought My Chair: Unbossed, But Bothered! Atlanta, GA
The 2025 “I Brought My Chair” Conference took place in Atlanta , uniting Black women from across the country for a powerful day of connection, conversation, and empowerment. Building on the energy of the 2024 gathering in Baltimore, this year’s conference continued the movement for women to claim their space, lead authentically, and bring their chair to every table they enter.
(2024) I Brought My Chair: Unbossed, But Bothered! Baltimore, MD
The 2024 “I Brought My Chair” Conference was held in Baltimore, marking our second in-person gathering. The event brought together Black women leaders, innovators, and changemakers for a day of authentic conversations, community building, and empowerment. Building on the foundation of our first conference, Baltimore amplified the movement and strengthened our commitment to creating spaces where women can show up fully and unapologetically.
(2023) I Brought My Chair: Unbossed, But Bothered! Atlanta, GA
Our first in person conference. This year’s theme: Unbossed, but Bothered!, signifies the reframing of the agenda, the resetting of the table because just having a seat is no longer enough.
(2021) I Brought My Chair: Solidifying the Role of Black Women in Leadership
Launched during the COVID pandemic, our first virtual conference brought together over 100 women to discuss black women leadership.

(2022) Curated Conversations: Getting to the Bag
During our first Curated Conversation, we discussed entrepreneurship, career advancement and wealth-building strategies with career women in each of the sectors.
